1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Smart Academy UK ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
  • One person may only maintain one account.

3. Course Purchases

  • All prices are displayed in British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.
  • Upon successful payment, you receive lifetime access to the purchased course.
  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
  • Course content may be updated or improved over time at our discretion.

4. Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day refund policy from the date of purchase. To request a refund, contact us at contact@smartacademyuk.com with your order details. Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to the original payment method.

Refunds may not be granted if you have completed more than 50% of the course content.

5. Intellectual Property

  • All course content, materials, videos, and resources are owned by Smart Academy UK or its instructors.
  • You are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to access purchased course content.
  • You may not copy, distribute, reproduce, or share course materials with third parties.
  • You may not record, download, or redistribute video content unless explicitly permitted.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
  • Share your account credentials with others.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems.
  • Post harmful, offensive, or misleading content.
  • Use automated tools to scrape or download content.

7. Certificates

Upon completing a course, you may receive a certificate of completion. Certificates are issued at our discretion and represent completion of course material. They do not constitute accredited qualifications unless explicitly stated.

8. Limitation of Liability

Smart Academy UK provides educational content on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee specific outcomes, employment, or career advancement as a result of completing courses. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your access to course content may be revoked without refund.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
